KCTS provides medication-assisted treatment (MAT), counseling services, peer recovery support, and coordinated care designed to support individuals throughout their recovery journey.

Our MAT program combines medication support with counseling, behavioral therapies, and recovery resources to provide a comprehensive approach to opioid use disorder treatment.

Treatment includes therapeutic services delivered by licensed clinicians along with peer recovery support services provided by trained specialists with lived experience.

Treatment plans are individualized and structured in phases based on each patient's progress and clinical needs.

Patients work with clinicians to develop long-term recovery plans, ensuring continued support and resources following completion of the program.

KCTS accepts most insurance providers, Medicaid, Medicare, and Medicaid Supplemental plans. IHS Native care policies are honored. Low-cost payment options are available for uninsured patients.

Eligibility and program requirements align with Title 42 CFR regulations governing opioid treatment programs.

KCTS received the Medication Assisted Treatment / Prescription Drug and Opioid Addiction Grant (MAT/PDOA) from SAMHSA, covering fiscal years 2022–2027.

KCTS was established in 2008 as the first Tribal Methadone clinic in the United States, serving both Native and non-Native populations.
